WHATSAPP IN THE PRODUCTION ROUTINE IN THE INLAND: A Study on the Perspectives of Journalists from Imperatriz (MA) and Araguaína (TO)

This work seeks to understand how journalists, who in newsrooms the cities of Imperatriz (Maranhão – Brazil) and Araguaína (Tocantins - Brazil), use WhatsApp their routine, this application affects working conditions. The scope research included 14 communication vehicles. Methodologically, study is divided into three stages: exploratory survey, semi-structured interviews, comparative analysis. Among conclusions, we point out that part production routine journalists Araguaína. However, they are not critical fact implications for routines. Most them adopt a subservient role as category.
